About the role
We are seeking an experienced security technology specialist to fulfil a lead role within our ‘BUILD – SYSTEMS’ team in the US. The role has become available due to business growth and the need to support clients in the region and build strong relationships locally. The role demands a high level of technical excellence; commercial understanding and client communication are also key. The Associate will report directly into the Build lead at HQ in the UK, and work closely with both the global team of Associates and other local senior team members to ensure seamless delivery.
The position would suit a senior security engineer or technical security manager that has practical experience but has also had exposure to the commercial side of projects and wishes to grow in that space. There is room for progression as the business is experiencing high growth in the region.
The Associate will be responsible for fostering strong customer relationships, providing technical expertise and support, and helping customers achieve their goals using the QCIC’s products and services. This role is multifaceted, involving technical knowledge, project management skills, and a focus on customer success, with an emphasis on driving business growth and long-term partnerships.
What you will do
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for at least both CCURE and Genetec systems and be a point of escalation for the business both in the region and globally
- Responsible for managing a portfolio of key customer accounts; developing a deep understanding of the customer’s business goals and needs
- Contribute to the development, management, and deployment of various client systems
- Plan, mobilise and technically lead projects from proposal/RFP through to sign-off
- Execute peer reviews for more junior and less technical staff and provide oversight and governance on projects
- Work alongside both the business development team and client leads to provide technical guidance and present to clients
- Manage a resourcing schedule for multiple engineers
- Be able to generate proposals and lead on competitive RFPs in line with clients’ requirements
- Actively participate in improving quality and internal processes contributing to continual improvement of the team
- Compile technical documentation and write basic reports
- Liaise with client IT/Network leads for software deployments
- Ensure all projects are completed on budget and on time
What we are looking for
- Demonstrated (8+ years) experience working in enterprise security in the technology sector with clear impact
- In-depth and certified knowledge of both Genetec and Software House systems
- Proven history of delivering global security programs across a range of enterprise security solutions
- Demonstrated work experience within data strategy, management, and operational reporting and enabling technologies
- Experience leading multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to communicate and present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at a senior level
