About the role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power Platform Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The Power Platform Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions using Power Apps to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Power Apps, IT infrastructure, software development, and automation tools, with a passion for driving innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement. The role is reporting directly to our Global Infrastructure Lead and will be expected to work closely with key stakeholders in the business to provide support.
What you will do
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions within SharePoint, Microsoft Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 platforms
Work with stakeholders to understand requirements, define project scope and identify opportunities for automation
Architect and develop complex solutions, integrating Power Platform with Azure services (logic Apps, Functions, AI/ML tools, etc.) and external APIs
Support the integration of different systems and data sources to improve process automation
Collaborate with senior team members and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of automation solutions
Mentor and coach junior team members, helping them to develop technical skills and knowledge of low-code solutions
Provide basic training and support to users on new tools and applications
Document technical processes, implementation steps, and best practices for future reference
Learn and apply best practices for using Microsoft tools to optimise business processes and workflows
Manage multiple projects, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget and meet business requirements
Build and maintain workflows, forms, and applications using Power Platform tools, SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 applications
What we are looking for
A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
Extensive experience (5+ years) in Microsoft Power Platform development and administration
Expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse
Basic understanding of Power Automate for workflow Automation and Power Apps for app development
Some exposure to Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure Logic Apps or Azure Functions
Proficiency in Power Fx, JavaScript, JSON, and formula-based logic for customizing PowerApps and automating processes
Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and agile project management
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Power BI report development, including complex DAX calculations and data modelling
Microsoft Certifications such as Power Platform Solution Architect Expect, Power Platform Developer Associate, or Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate are preferred
