About the role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power Platform Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The Power Platform Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions using Power Apps to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Power Apps, IT infrastructure, software development, and automation tools, with a passion for driving innovation, productivity and continuous improvement. The role is report directly into our Global Infrastructure Lead/Senior Power Platform Developer and will be expected to work closely with key stakeholders in the business to provide support.
What you will do
Assist in the design, development and implantation of automation solutions within SharePoint, Microsoft Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 platforms
Work with stakeholders to understand requirements, define project scope and identify opportunities for automation
Support the integration of different systems and data sources to improve process automation
Collaborate with senior team members and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of automation solutions
Provide basic training and support to users on new tools and applications
Document technical processes, implantation steps and best practices for future reference
Learn and apply best practices for using Microsoft tools to optimize business processes and workflows
Build and maintain workflows, forms and applications using Power Platform tools, SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 applications
What we are looking for
A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
Some professional experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 tools
Basic understanding of Power Automate for workflow Automation and Power Apps for app development.
Some exposure to Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure Logic Apps or Azure Functions.
Willingness to learn PowerFX to customise PowerApps functionality
Basic understanding of Software development lifecycle and agile project management.
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Any relevant Microsoft Certifications would be a plus but not required
